Contact
If you’re thinking about counselling or have a question before getting started, you’re very welcome to get in touch. I’d be happy to hear from you and explore whether counselling with me might feel right for you.
What happens next?
I aim to respond to new enquiries within 1–2 working days (Monday–Friday). If you’ve requested an introductory call, we can arrange a time that works for us both. You can request a telephone call or via Microsoft Teams.
The free 20-minute call is a chance to briefly talk about what you're looking for, ask any questions and see whether counselling with me feels right for you. There’s no obligation to book a counselling session afterwards.
Is counselling with Emma Bond Counselling suitable for everyone?
Emma Bond Counselling provides online and telephone counselling for adults (18+) and is not an emergency or crisis service.
My service may not be the right level of support if you:
are currently in crisis or need urgent mental health support
are at immediate risk of harming yourself or someone else
need specialist support for active drug or alcohol dependency
have needs that require more specialist or intensive mental health support than I can safely provide
have been required to attend therapy by a court or other authority
If you’re unsure whether I can support you, please get in touch. We can talk about what you’re looking for and whether counselling with me is appropriate for your needs.
If you need urgent help
If you are in immediate danger or there is a risk to life, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E department.
If you need urgent mental health support, you can also contact your GP or NHS 111.
Samaritans are available 24 hours a day on 116 123 if you need someone to talk to
