Neuroaffirming online counselling for adults across the UK
I offer online counselling for neurodivergent and neurotypical adults across the UK. My practice is open to all identities and backgrounds, with respect for your individual culture and lived experience.
You may be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed or exhausted, experiencing grief or loss, navigating change, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself.
Perhaps you’ve spent a long time adapting or trying to fit expectations that don’t work for you. You may be exploring neurodivergence, a late ADHD or autism diagnosis, masking or burnout, or supporting a neurodivergent child or family member.
You don’t have to do this alone. I can support you to make sense of what’s going on, develop a deeper understanding of your needs, and find ways to navigate life when it feels overwhelming.
As well as exploring anything that may be holding you back, we can recognise and build on your unique strengths, capabilities and the things that already work for you.
Together, we can explore what helps you feel more like yourself and find ways of living that feel more authentic, manageable and meaningful to you.
My approach to counselling
My approach is warm, person-centred, collaborative and neuroaffirming, with the therapeutic relationship at the heart of our work. I’ll adapt how we work to you, rather than expecting you to fit a particular way of doing therapy.
Some sessions might involve exploring how past experiences are affecting you now. Others may focus on what’s happening in your life today or practical ways to make things feel more manageable. When helpful, I may also draw on psychodynamic ideas and CBT approaches.
You don’t need to arrive knowing what you want to talk about. You can bring notes, pause, fidget, look away, lose your train of thought or need time to work out what you’re feeling. We’ll work at a pace that feels manageable for you.
Therapy isn’t about changing who you are. It’s about understanding yourself more deeply and exploring ways forward that feel more authentic, meaningful and sustainable.
You can come to counselling as you are.
How counselling with me can help
I offer a space to explore what matters to you, without pressure to be different.
Understand yourself better - Explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences and patterns with curiosity and without judgement.
Make sense of what you’re experiencing - Develop a clearer understanding of what you’re going through, what affects you and what you might need.
Find what works for you - Explore your needs and boundaries, alongside helpful tools and strategies for when life feels overwhelming.
A space that respects who you are - I’m committed to a practice that honours your unique identity, background, culture and lived experience. You are the expert on your own life, and we’ll work together in a way that respects what matters to you.
