Frequently asked questions
-
Individual Therapy Sessions: £55 per 50-minute session
-
I offer daytime and evening appointments on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
-
My counselling sessions are 50 minutes. How long we work together will depend on what feels helpful for you. You may want short-term counselling, which typically spans 6 - 12 sessions, to focus on a particular issue, or prefer longer-term support with no fixed end date.
We can talk about this together and review what you need as counselling progresses.
-
Sessions are available online via Microsoft Teams or by telephone, so you can choose whichever feels most comfortable for you.
You don’t need a Microsoft Teams account or the Teams app to join — you can simply open the link in your web browser. If you prefer Teams but would rather have your camera off, that’s absolutely fine too.
-
Payment can be made by bank transfer.
Please note payment is required 48 hours in advance.
-
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice incur the standard session fee.
-
The free 20-minute introductory call is a relaxed, no-obligation opportunity to meet, ask me any questions and get a sense of whether I might be the right counsellor for you.
There’s no pressure to book afterwards. You’re welcome to take some time to think about whether working together feels right for you.
-
If I’ve missed something, or you have a question but don’t feel ready to book an introductory call, you’re very welcome to contact me.
I want you to feel safe and comfortable before deciding whether counselling with me feels right for you, and I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have. There’s no pressure to take the next step until you’re ready.
